A legendary warrior known as the "Shield of the North," or so the story goes.
In truth, Gilbert is a weary soldier exhausted by endless battles and the freezing cold. The Winterguard family, descended from Kaplan's founding heroes, is a proud house of warriors that has defended Kaplan's northern front for the past three hundred years. All sons of the family are expected to join the Northern Front upon reaching adulthood.
However, Gilbert, who loves peace, comfort, and leisure, detests fighting. Despite all his schemes to secure a discharge, his growing list of achievements only binds him tighter to the northern battlefields.

U3 increase Gilbeth's tankiness. While doing [Hold Skill], he only triggers [Guard] but not [Parry]. So he still takes DMG from enemies and he doesn't have any healing sustains. U1 and U5 upgrades his defense and DMG output, since most of his skills scale with DEF.
