Quick Start Guide for New Players

This guide is a collection of important tips, do's and dont's aimed for new players.

This guide provides crucial tips to help you optimize your resources and progress efficiently from the very beginning.

Summoning and Currency Management

How you use your premium currency, Moon Tears (diamonds), is critical for your account's success.

  • Standard Banner: Do not use Moon Tears to pull units in the standard banner. Use only the common summoning scrolls you acquire through gameplay for this.

  • Event Banners: Save your Moon Tears for limited-time event banners.

  • Altar of Invocation (Wishlist): Make sure to set up your summon wishlist in the Altar of Invocation. This increases the chances of pulling the specific SSR units you want from the standard banner. The provided image shows an ideal setup.

  • Note: Ideal altar setup changes over time as new characters are introduced, and also depends on your current missing units.

Unit Progression and Leveling

A common mistake is investing resources in too many units early on. The game has a system to prevent this.

  • Focus on 5 SR Units: In the beginning, concentrate your resources on leveling up only 5 SR units (good examples include Noah, Setti, Aiona, Jestel, Empousa). SR units get duplicates much faster, which increases their maximum level cap to 160.

  • Use the Transfusion Tree (Sync Feature): You will unlock this feature very quickly. It allows you to place your SSR units into slots, and they will automatically sync to the level of the lowest-leveled unit among your main 5. This way, your SSRs are always at a usable level without you spending resources directly on them.

  • Transitioning to SSRs: After about a month, you will likely have SSRs with 3 or more duplicates. At that point, you can swap them into the main 5 leveling slots in the Transfusion Tree.

  • Level Reset is Cheap: Don't hesitate to level up your first strong SSR unit until you unlock the sync feature. Resetting a unit's level is cheap, costing only 10 Moon Tears.

  • Upgrade Affinity: Increase the affinity of the units you are actively using in your team. This provides them with valuable stat bonuses.

Reroll Advice (Early Game)

If you plan on rerolling (restarting the game multiple times for a strong starting unit), these are the best targets:

Timeless Aiona

Acappella

Van Helsing

  • Any Ancestral unit (which are extra rare)

Resource and Gold Management

  • Gear Upgrades: Do not waste gold and materials on upgrading low-level gear at the start. Wait until you get at least Tier 5 or Tier 6 gear before you start investing heavily. Gold will be a very scarce resource later on.

  • Timed Resource Items: You will get items that grant you 1hr, 2hr, 8hr, etc., worth of idle resources instantly. Try to save these and use them only when you are stuck or absolutely need a boost. These items naturally become more valuable over time, as your idle rewards improve with story progression.

General Gameplay Tips

  • Idle Rewards (Moonlight Tribute): The idle rewards system accumulates rewards for a maximum of 24 hours. Make sure to log in and collect them at least twice a day so you don't waste potential resources.

  • Team Formation: While team composition is dynamic, a generally effective formation should include:

    • 1-2 Tanks (to absorb damage)

    • 0-1 Healer (to sustain your team)

    • 0-1 Buffer (e.g., Acappella, to enhance your team)

    • 2-3 DPS (to deal damage)
