Van Helsing is an exceptionally valuable DPS vassal, with an ultimate that can persist throughout an entire battle—provided he continues slaying minions to maintain his stacking attack speed buffs. When optimally positioned at maximum range, with no allies occupying the two tiles directly in front of him, he gains a significant damage boost that often justifies his high ultimate cost. He is especially vital in modes like Timeworn Mausoleum, where his sustained damage and efficiency can greatly ease the challenge.
