One counter sells and the other buys. What the shop stocks is mostly what the kitchen wants, at a price and a few a day; what the appraisal shop takes is the unidentified treasure the trading post brings home, and it pays in potch for whatever it turns out to be.

What comes in
25 kinds of unidentified treasure under 12 names, and each turns into one of the results listed under it.
Two of a name
Two or three of them share a name, an icon and nothing else: 22 of the 25 are sold at one trading post each, and which town a piece came from is what decides the list it draws on. The rest are handed out rather than sold.
What it pays
The shop appraises a piece and buys it on the spot for what it turns out to be worth, in potch.
