The diving facility in Suikoden STAR LEAP: all 25 species, how many hits each takes, what it leaves for the kitchen, and which of the four hours...

The village goes under with a harpoon. A dive is scored rather than fished — a target to beat and a stretch of seabed to beat it in — and every catch leaves a material behind for the kitchen.

The hour
The hour you go in is the only thing that changes the water. Nothing else does: unlike the quarry or the fields, diving has one difficulty however far the base has come, and the phase of the Great Tree does not reach under the surface.
The target
A dive is played against 5,000 points.
The seabed
The same stretch every time, 0 to 100 down.
Combo
Land one after another without missing and the harpoon bites harder. The bonus stops climbing at six.
What it leaves
A catch leaves a material of its own name behind, and the eight that leave something else say so in the table.
Off the seabed
Clam, Coral, Green Sea Urchin and Shell are picked up rather than speared: they take no hits and earn no rank, and at most one is down there on a dive.
