All 98 fish in Suikoden STAR LEAP with the spot each one bites at, its size range, the crown windows and the score it takes to reach S, plus the...
Seven spots take a line: one in your own village, six out in the world. Ninety-eight fish move between them, and every one of them keeps its own size range, its own score ladder and its own list of places it will bite.
How a catch is judged
Cast, wait for a shadow to take the hook, and land it. What comes back is a score, and the score is read two ways.
The score ladder
Every fish carries its own thresholds from E up to S, so the same number is a middling catch on one fish and a perfect one on another. Landing more of a species opens the notes kept on it.
Crowns
A specimen at either edge of what its species reaches is crowned: silver for a notably small or notably large catch, gold for the true extremes. Sizes are in millimetres.
Fishing Encyclopedia
Every fish, with where it bites and what it is worth. Open a row for its size extremes, the water it lives in and the notes the encyclopedia keeps on it.

Diving
The village also goes under. Diving is scored rather than fished: you have a target to beat and a stretch of seabed to beat it in.
What comes up
Marked catches can come up as the bonus target.
Dive sites
Each site is set by how far the village has come along and the hour you go in.
