Analysis

An good magical tank you can use. He brings some good AoE and utility to the team.

Pros

Brings a nice horizontal P.DEF down debuff.

Dodges a lot, so physical attacks are rarely much of an issue.

Can self heal if low HP.

All skills are AoE, pretty useful to unbalance a lot of enemies.

Cons

Leader skill is really niche, sword magic users are not common.

The self-defense buffs on his passives are not permanent.
