A corrupt official in Rockland. He lied and said that the village's property had been stolen in a bandit raid. In truth, he had been embezzling the village's taxes to line his own pockets.
His weapon is a large, impressive mace, but he leaves combat to his subordinates. The mace is nothing more than a prop to make him look stronger than he is.
He has a notebook in which he writes down who he has given bribes to and how much, of course, to blackmail them later. His goal is to suck others dry so that he doesn't waste any of his own money.
He got to where he is today by using flattery, bribes, cunning, and others' bad luck. He's still not satisfied, however. Desperate to reach an even higher position, Grady continues to use any means necessary to work his way up the ranks.
