Reroll Process
The process for rerolling in is incredibly simple, since the developers included a way to streamline the process. The time it takes to complete one reroll is only 1-2 minutes long, faster than most other gacha games. This is because you only need to complete the tutorial once, as the method for rerolling in the game, deleting the player data, allows you to skip the tutorial entirely.
Upon finishing the tutorial and claiming all rewards from the mail, you should have enough for 10 Synchros. It is highly recommended that you do a 10x Synchro on the character pick-up synchro as the standard synchro has a chance to give Tension Cards, or the game's version of weapons, which will not be very necessary in the beginning of the game.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Reroll Targets
Limited Banners
In version 1.1, the best character to target for a reroll is Hinagiku Akiba. She is an extremely versatile and powerful character that can fill multiple roles at an exceptional level, with practically no flaws that can’t be easily worked around.
Standard Banner
We currently have 4 standard banner characters, available to acquire at any time randomly from the standard banner or if you lose the 50/50 to one of them.
Of these four, the most standout options at the moment are Miu Jujo, an easy‑to‑play ranged DPS that can also perform well when operated by the AI, and Enoki Yukigaya, a high‑risk, high‑reward “glass cannon” character that deals massive damage provided you can avoid getting hit.
The other two, Jio Takinogawa and Q, are solid in their own ways but aren’t massive priorities for a new account. Only consider them if you love their design or are willing to experiment.
Hinagiku Akiba
Pros
- Unbelievable Break Values: 90/135/210/1200. It’s not even funny how ridiculous these numbers are, and unlike similar characters she doesn’t have “slow animations” as an issue. Dupes only make her an even better breaker.
- Unbelievable Damage: High base numbers on top of high scaling off passive 1 make her charge punches deal absurd damage, and her strategy skill is a mini Enoki strategy skill.
- Unbelievable Utility: 30% defense shred to the entire field is stupid as it is, but it’s coming from a 1 bar ult (Bombard enabler). Attention is also at a premium with the addition of Backstab+.
- Unbelievably Easy: You know how Saigo can just hold a button and win? Yeah, Hina does that but also does actual damage. Charge punch can deflect anything that isn’t a beam or an explosion and she has surprisingly fast animations for a character of her type. Also the AI can not only use her well but the deflect in her kit lets the AI actually deflect, something currently entirely unique to her.
Cons
- Can’t Deflect Everything: You can’t deflect lasers or explosions so you have to adjust your playstyle around them. Most notable on Destroyer (surely no Red Limit Destroyer right?).
- Stamina Costs: Hina’s attacks can drain a lot of stamina, making mindless use of her full kit very punishing. Despite her simplicity you DO need to manage her stamina.
- AI is Utility Only: Her AI does Hina’s stated job of “tanking” well but its ability to utilize her kit is extremely bad in comparison to manual Hina play. There’s a lot of opportunity cost being left on the table if you opt to run her with “manual only” characters like Enoki or Tsuruko.
Miu Jujo
Pros
- Great DPS: While charging her ultimate, Miu dishes out reliable DPS from both herself and her turret.
- Lightning Fast: With fast animations and an even faster run, Miu can easily avoid taking damage.
- Life Bar Melting Ultimate: While it takes a bit of time to charge up, Miu’s ultimate deals an absurd amount of damage output over its 20 hits.
Cons
- Poor Breaker: With no break damage from her turret and low values on her primary and secondary attacks, Miu contributes little to your break speed.
- Ramp Up Time: With the recent removal of tension cost on most cards, Miu’s clear times aren’t quite as brainless as her competitors as her Resonance has to charge independently of the first break.
- Multi Hit Ult: Because Miu’s ultimate does its damage over time in a designated area, enemies that move a lot can walk out of its area of effect. Performing it immediately off a break is all but required to ensure all of the hits land on the target.
Jio Takinogawa
Pros
- Lethal Debuff: While the damage itself is only OK, the armor shred from his second passive is a unique but powerful debuff to improve your team’s damage output.
- Great AOE: His AOE damage is very good when it comes up, as multiple enemies can suffer from Venom and multiple explosions going off result in quick clears of trash packs.
- Good Break: His break damage is pretty good for a debuffer even in the AI’s hands.
- Many Hits: Jio’s strategy skill has a ton of instances of damage, allowing him to abuse certain cards for a ton of extra damage.
Cons
- Average Overall: Jio’s damage and break are FINE, but not particularly amazing even with synergistic cards and building him for it.
- Easily Replaceable: Jio’s armor shred is VERY good right now, but it’s not needed against the currently available endgame content.
Enoki Yukigaya
Pros
- Absurd Damage Output: While it requires a bit of ramp up time to generate her heat, Enoki can consistently pump out obscene damage via her Strategy Skill.
- Win More DPS: The better you are at dodging/counterattacking the faster you’ll build/maintain heat, which in turn gives her massive damage.
- Nuclear Option: With her passive 1 boosting her ultimate damage and her passive 2 boosting her damage in general, Enoki can deal obscene damage when properly equipped.
Cons
- Risky Gameplay: Between her low defenses, self damaging via passive 2, and losing all of her heat from any damage taken from an enemy, Enoki demands perfect play to optimally use.
- Manual Preferred: While current enemies/bosses have low enough health for Enoki to kill off a single burst rotation, longer fights will likely demand manual execution as Enoki’s AI is shoddy at best.
- Enemy Aggression Reliant: To build heat up in a reasonable time frame requires an enemy that will actively attempt to attack her so she can counterattack or perfect dodge.
Summary
In conclusion, rerolling in Tribe Nine is incredibly easy and definitely worth doing since any character you get will help you progress in the story. Good luck and happy rolling!
