Netmarble has posted a second follow-up for the Mongil: Star Dive Bonus Time Event issue after the April 29 update. The response gives eligible players Key x2,500 through in-game mail and adds warnings for accounts that went beyond the normal Auto Clear limit.
The studio says the issue came from its side, so it is not recovering rewards or applying broad sanctions for this response.
Compensation
Eligible players will receive:
- Key x2,500
- Delivery method: in-game mail
- Claim period: 4/29 (Wed) - 5/6 (Wed) 14:59 UTC
Accounts created after the April 29 update will not receive the reward.
Who Is Excluded
Netmarble says players who completed 101 or more Auto Clear attempts during the issue are outside the scope of normal gameplay, because the maximum number of Auto Clear attempts that can normally be performed at one time is 100.
Those players will receive additional warnings and are excluded from the Key x2,500 compensation.
What Players Should Know
If your account is eligible, the important deadline is May 6 at 14:59 UTC. The reward is sent through mail, so claim it before the mail or claim period expires.
The notice also says future issues may be handled under the game's Terms of Service without prior warning, so this follow-up should not be read as a permanent policy for similar bugs.
