NTE’s Version 1.2 “999 Nights” update goes live on July 8, 2026, following maintenance from 06:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8). The update adds a new exclusive S-Class character, a new story episode, a new location, and several free reward gifts for all Appraisers.
Maintenance Details
- Duration: July 8, 2026, 06:00–11:00 (UTC+8)
- “Pink Paws Heist” goes offline at 05:30 (UTC+8) and reopens once maintenance ends.
- Login is unavailable for the full maintenance window; a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection is recommended for the download since this update is on the larger side.
- The “Forsaken Path” Limited Board ends July 8, 2026 at 05:59 (UTC+8) — claim any remaining Fogshroud Perks rewards before then.
Free Rewards
- Summer Special Gift Pack: create a character before Version 1.2 ends to receive an S-Class Standard Character Selection Box, letting you choose one of Sakiri, Baicang, Hathor, Fadia, Daffodill, or Jiuyuan. Available July 8 (after update) – August 19, 05:59 (UTC+8), sent via in-game mail after maintenance.
- Appreciation Gift: Annulith x1,600, sent via in-game mail after the update, for Appraisers who create a character and unlock the Mail feature before Version 1.2 ends.
- Maintenance Compensation: Annulith x300 for Appraisers who created their character before July 8, 2026, 06:00 (UTC+8).
- Bug Fix Compensation: Annulith x300, same eligibility as the maintenance compensation above.
All mail rewards have a claim window, so redeem them before they expire.
New Character: Shinku
The exclusive S-Class character Shinku joins the roster with the update.
- Available: July 8 (after update) – July 29, 05:59 (UTC+8)
- Unlock requirement: complete the main story quest “Prologue - A New Destination - Head to Eibon Antique Shop”
- The “Before the Dawn” Limited Board features Shinku alongside A-Class characters Mint, Edgar, and Adler, plus the “Overcast Canopy” glider livery, the “Hidden Dragon” Blizzard-V4 livery, and Shinku’s outfit “Student of Terrasea” as milestone rewards at 50/120/200 rolls.
A companion Limited S-Class Arc “Blushing Mirage” is also available July 8 – July 29, 05:59 (UTC+8) through the Resolve Special Arc Research Program.
New Story and Location
- New main story episode “Fighting with a Dragon” unlocks after completing “Dreamwalk Corridor” and reaching Hunter Lvl 26. It leads to the new Warren Continent location.
- New City Hangouts and Home Time content featuring Shinku unlock once you obtain her.
New Outfits and Events
Shinku gets several new outfits, including discounted Shop outfits “Dragonhunter” and “Dawn Patrol” (available July 8 – August 19, 05:59 UTC+8), plus outfits tied to the Limited Board, Bond level, and the new “999 Nights” Button Shop.
Other new content includes:
- “Neon Rift” Mystery Box event (July 8 – August 19, 05:59 UTC+8) with vehicle and outfit rewards.
- “Circle Gifts” login event — log in 7 days to earn Solid Dice x10 (July 8 – August 19, 05:59 UTC+8).
- “999 Nights” Limited-Time Event and “Shadow-n-Seek” event with Annulith, Fons, and cosmetic rewards.
- “Eibon Partner Program” invite-a-friend event (July 8, 11:00 – August 19, 05:59 UTC+8).
- Version 1.2 “Circle Bounty” Guide with Fabricated Dice and cosmetic rewards (July 8 – August 18, 23:59 UTC+8).
Quality-of-Life Changes
The patch also adds Outfit Recoloring, Riichi Mahjong at Little Sparrow, a Fishkeeping feature, a Decor Blueprint feature, controller support improvements, and a long list of bug fixes, including issues with Hotori’s Basic Attack button and Anomaly Commission quest tracking.
