NTE's first major update after launch arrives on May 13, 2026. The maintenance window runs from 06:00 to 11:00 AM (UTC+8), bringing Hotori's limited banner, two new in-game events, a new S-class Arc, and a long list of gameplay and quest fixes. Players logged in before the cutoff receive 300 Annulith compensation.

After maintenance ends, restart your client to install the update before logging in.

Hotori "Misty Tipsy Style" Limited Board

Unlock requirement: complete the Episode Quest "Prologue: A New Destination - Head to Eibon Antique Shop"
The new board features Hotori as the S-class character, with A-class characters Haniel, Aurelia, and Skia also available. The Hourglass Perks event launches alongside the board with new outfit rewards, including the "Orchid Breeze" glider livery, the "Autumn Haze" Blizzard-V4 livery, and Hotori's "Priceless Orchid" outfit — claimable from the Skin Perks page at 50, 120, and 200 rolls.

Whisker Patrol Event

Earn points by defeating anomalies and Garuda members to unlock tiered Annulith and resource rewards. The event starts when Zero's Companion ends. See the full event guide.
Gameplay Changes
- Multiplayer party finder: a new "Recommended Players" list is now available.
- Pink Paws Heist: at match start, 6 extraction points activate at random and remain open throughout — they no longer close as the match progresses.
- Owner's Selection: revenue requirements lowered for stages 1-5 Coffee Machine Gun, 2-5 Timing Master, and 3-4 Multitaskinggggg.
- Pre-Race quests: difficulty lowered for Pre-Race Declaration and Pre-Race Briefing in the "Drift Away, Legend!" side story.
- Photo Mode: a borderless frame option has been added.

- Aurelia's Life Skill had an incorrect description — fixed.

- NPC Nelly could fail to appear during the "Code Zero" quest in "Unforeseen Yet Foretold" — fixed. Affected players can revisit the location to retrigger.
- "Please Remain Quiet" quest in Encounter "City Serenade" could fail to complete — fixed.
- "Good Practice!" quest in Encounter "Boss on Patrol" could fail to trigger at the designated location — fixed.
- "A Sad Bear Cries Not" Anomaly Commission could fail to trigger — fixed.

- Hidden Easter egg item "Thick Document Envelope" could occasionally fail to drop. Affected players can return to the car crash scene near Beat King in Hethereau between 13:00 and 17:00 on a sunny day to trigger the dialogue again.
- Achievements "You Too?" and "It said go for it!" (PlayStation) could fail to unlock — fixed.
