Vice-Captain of the Kamp Mercenary Corps.
Co-founded the Kamp Mercenary Corps alongside Libertas. If Libertas is the symbol representing the Kamp Mercenary Corps, then Enas is the key figure managing its internal affairs.
She is efficient and meticulous, handling most of the corps' operations under her command. In contrast, Libertas, who is responsible for wrapping up missions, often leaves tasks unfinished, constantly giving Enas a headache.

Story

I remember that day clearly.

Forced to hold a disgusting branding tool in front of others, I was made to brand countless people.

Though the dye used for branding leaves a long-lasting mark, it isn't completely permanent. If exposed to the sun continuously, the mark will gradually fade, eventually leaving only a faint trace. If ignored, no one will even notice it.

But even if the marks on my face fade, the scars in my heart will remain for a lifetime.

Just like how I can never forget what happened that day.

That day, the prisoner with the key came to me and said that my father sold slaves as test subjects to the Moon Shadow Cult, and she herself had once been one of their experiments.

Back then, we weren't strong enough to help her reclaim her freedom, nor could I atone for my sins. So, we founded the Kamp Mercenary Corps to reach that goal.

Yet we still aren't strong enough. Despite all we've accomplished, the path to our goal remains long and arduous. I still live in the shadows of the past, plagued by nightmares every night.

But even so, we will not stop.

For freedom. For redemption.

Late at night, Enas was reading something under the faint candlelight and let out a sigh.

Moon Shadow Cult.

At first, she thought it was just a cult worshiping witches, a group of mad fanatics shouting about burning the world. But she was wrong. The Moon Shadow Cult was a far larger organization than she had imagined. They possessed the power to control a nation, and even the ability to burn it to ashes.

The information she had heard in Pharos about the Moon Shadow Cult and witches far exceeded their expectations.

"Looks like you have a lot on your mind."

Seeing Libertas appear silently, Enas sighed again.

"I told you to make some noise when you walk."

"You're thinking about the Moon Shadow Cult, aren't you?"

Caught off guard by Libertas's words, Enas held her breath for a moment before slowly speaking.

"I always suspected they weren't just some ordinary group. No matter how much I searched, I couldn't find any trace of them."

"True."After wandering in the darkness for so long, the truth they finally uncovered revealed that this group held the power to overthrow a nation...

"Are you scared?" Hearing this, Enas shook her head.

"I'm not afraid. But... I'm becoming less certain. Can we really stand against them? Can we achieve our goals?" Libertas, who had remained silent, finally spoke up.

"Teaming up with Pharos is one way." "Hehe, not a bad idea. After all, we still have Serie, Jeremiah, and {account:name}." As the moonlight slipped through the gaps in the tent, she gently touched the brand on her right arm.

"If I planned to stop here, I wouldn't have taken your hand back then. I'm not ready to stop, and neither are you, right?" Libertas, who nodded in response, heard Enas say with a smile:

"Thank you. Let's keep moving forward together."

The letters I wrote in the past were filled with deep emotions. Joy, sadness, pain. Every time I read those letters, I can recall what I was going through and what I was feeling at that time.

When I was sorting through some letters the other day, I found a few very old ones. They were from long before Libertas and I founded this mercenary corps.

Those letters were filled with dark emotions and the cold, harsh realities of the world. Faced with such reality, I felt completely helpless and overwhelmed with despair. Back then, I had nothing. No power, no courage.

Even after meeting Libertas and establishing the Kamp Mercenary Corps, those letters still carried a gloomy aura. In fact, the letters I wrote when we first started the mercenary corps were even darker. At the time, I thought that just founding a mercenary corps would allow me to accomplish anything – finding the Moon Shadow Cult, helping Libertas fulfill her wishes, rescuing enslaved prisoners, and atoning for my own sins.

But reality isn't that simple. There were more things I couldn't do than things I could, and our goals remained out of reach. That's why the letters I wrote back then were so bleak.

However, as time went on, my letters started to brighten. The sadness gradually faded, and more joyous moments appeared. I began to focus on the things I could achieve rather than the things I couldn't.

And one of the reasons for this change was you. After losing everything, you joined the mercenary corps, but you never gave up and continued moving forward. Watching you, I learned a lot.

So, I always wanted to thank you. Thank you.

Ah! {account:name}! Thank you so much for helping back then! If it weren't for the two of you, I would've been overwhelmed handling the vice-captain's duties all by myself!

I never realized how much work the vice-captain had to handle before. I always thought she seemed overwhelmed with work, but I never imagined it was this much.

I'm glad the vice-captain got a chance to rest. The dark circles under her eyes have faded a bit! Hmm... though not completely, since she ended up cutting her vacation short to come back and help me. Sigh, if only I were a bit more capable, maybe she could actually take a proper break!

This made me realize just how incredible the vice-captain is. Without her, the entire administrative side of the mercenary corps would come to a standstill. How does she manage to handle everything so perfectly?

After the chaos that day, the captain said something memorable. She said, "If even Enas's absence can paralyze our administrative work, that's a serious problem. The entire mercenary corps is too reliant on Enas. We need to share her workload to avoid chaos when she's not around."

When the vice-captain heard this, she smiled so brightly. At that moment, I felt like only the captain truly understood her. But then the vice-captain let out a sigh and said:

"Libertas, it's only because you never do any work that I have to be this busy."

Then the two started bickering back and forth. Sigh, their relationship is really something. But they do seem to care for each other a lot!
