Even a broken clock is always right once a day.
My clock will be correct one day.
I often think back to the day when this clock stopped. If the time was wrong at that time, if it just happened to be accurate that day.
People always use regret as an excuse to easily excuse themselves for wasting time. It's obvious that those times will one day become a sharp blade that stabs oneself.
I don't know when it started, but I developed a habit of recording everything on this clock. Occasionally, I look back on those times like flipping through a photo album.
My beloved sister does not exist during these times. Every time this happens, I feel how precious time is.
As a Weapon wielder who controls the power of time, it is somewhat ridiculous to have such thoughts.
Sometimes, I just want to laugh it off, but every time I try to lift the veil of time, the surging pain sweeps in, impacting my heart and corroding the door deep in my soul.
Finally, my clock just keeps ticking randomly.
Even if we stand still, birds will still sing, rivers will still flow, rocks will still weather, and people will still grow old.
Time seems fair, but in fact it is very unfair. Because only those who make good use of time can show its true value.
Just as I was immersed in this unfairness and feeling endless regret, I met someone.
"Will you come with me?"
The All-powerful Butler
⌄
Hajin is an exceptional butler—no, a perfect butler.
Despite his young age, he's meticulous and reliable. Cleaning, cooking, fixing old furniture—there's nothing he can't do. The Rooks Mansion's pristine condition? All thanks to Hajin. Even Sacha, who constantly teases him for being boring, admits he's a master of household chores.
But his skills go beyond that. He helps with administrative work, handling documents better than most clerks. He even manages weapons and trains soldiers from time to time.
Thinking about it now… Hajin is everywhere.
You want to know how I met him? Well, here's a shocker—Hajin used to be an assassin. A well-known one, too. But something happened in his organization, and he ran.
I don't know what was going on. He never told me. Whenever the topic comes up, his eyes cloud over with sorrow… Whatever it was, it must have been painful.
After escaping, Hajin drifted from place to place. One day, some people found him and hired him for an assassination.
The target? That would be me.
Let me tell you, getting attacked by an assassin in the middle of the night is not great for the heart. Especially when the assassin is Hajin. Luckily, I was prepared—otherwise, I wouldn't be here.
I barely managed to subdue him… but in his eyes, I saw nothing but emptiness. Like a man who had already given up on life.
So I made him an offer. A man with his skills shouldn't have eyes like that.
Looking back, I'm glad I reached out to him that night. Because now, I can't even imagine Rooks' Territory without him.
Interesting Guy

Sacha and Artnis? They've been a huge help to Glacia's operations. Artnis mostly gathers intel at Pereus' Ballroom, so it's usually Sacha who works with me in Rooks' Territory.
As for our relationship…? Let's just say we're rivals. Lord Rampart says we make a great team. I strongly disagree.
Every time Sacha sees me, she goes:
"There are three types of people I hate—boring people, dull people, and tedious people. You know which one you are, right?"
I've heard that line so many times my ears are about to fall off.
I even tried learning how to tell jokes. Gave up on that, but since Sacha won't stop teasing me, I might just try again. Because honestly? I've had enough of being called a boring guy.
So, I started studying how to tell jokes—listening to others, reading books, practicing. Then, I tried telling jokes to people around me… But they just gave me weird looks. Some even looked seriously concerned.
You know the worst part? Sacha was the most worried. Like I had some serious problem. Her reaction hurts me more than anything else.
If I had known it'd turn out like this, I never would've bothered learning jokes.
Time Controller

As you know, my weapon lets me manipulate time. It has a lot of limitations, but it's still incredibly powerful.
It has three main abilities. First, I can show glimpses of the future. Mine or someone else's
But what I see is just one possible future, not a guaranteed one. Even highly likely futures might never happen, and impossible ones might come true.
So, I'm constantly struggling to reach the future I want. It's the best ability for preparing ahead. The downside? It drains my energy fast.
Second, I can manipulate time for objects. I can make time flow, rewind, or even stop. It's my strongest and most commonly used ability, but also the hardest to control with the most restrictions.
Third, I can look into the past. I can see an object's history or even someone's memories. Sometimes, I show others their past. But here's the weird part—I can't see my own memories. I've tried so many times, but it never works.
Why? I don't know myself. Is it some kind of curse that comes with this weapon? Or am I just unwilling to face my past? Honestly… I'm kind of scared to find out.
