And it was a great success! The monster fell down with a bang! I proved I was the best hunter! From then on, everyone started looking at me differently!

Ancient artifacts, especially treasured ones, soak up energy over time. If properly maintained, they're fine. But if neglected, they can become dangerous.

Wandering ghosts are very troublesome creatures! There are tons of unseen ghosts drifting around. Most fade quickly, but some just linger. And when they find an old object, they move in—like hermit crabs!

You'd think they'd stay quiet once they settle, but no, they always cause trouble. That's why we light candles—to keep them calm.

If we don't, they absorb energy from the object and turn into something terrifying. Creepy, right?

How do I know all this? It's a famous story in my hometown, Red Flame Castle.

Though, to be honest, I don't know much about my hometown. I don't even know if Red Flame Castle is my hometown. When I woke up, I was already with the Kamp Mercenaries. My past is just scattered shards, blurry like someone else's memories.
