Yuri

A lively Rigor girl.
She is extremely proud to be a Warden, and constantly trains herself to gain the respect of her juniors. No matter what difficulties she faces, she always shows an optimistic and positive side. Although she looks innocent and straightforward, it is this simplicity that makes her as warm as the sunshine.

Story
Under the night sky, the light of Pharos drove away the deep darkness, and Yuri couldn't help but sigh.
"Is this why Pharos is called the beacon that saved the world?" "Can I get into Pharos?" "Being a Warden would be cool!"
Yuri thought so while touching her boots. Her movements were quick and sharp, but her heart was heavy and full of determination.
"I run faster than anyone, but is that enough?"
"Does becoming a Warden really mean risking everything?"
"No... This is something I decided to do a long time ago."
When she first left her hometown, she at least felt relaxed and at ease, but when Pharos was right in front of her, she was so nervous that she began to feel her body heavy.
In order to keep her promise to her friend, she embarked on this journey, and when the destination was in front of her, her body seemed to be suppressed, and she couldn't take a step forward easily.
The coolness of the night wind caressed her cheeks, and she sat down beside a rock on the ridge to rest for a while.
In her backpack was a doll given to her by a friend. She once vowed, "I want to become an adult!" But this precious item was hard for her to part with.
"Ahh, cheer up! I must be the best Warden I can be!"
After shouting loudly to the night sky, she stood up from the rock and prepared to go down the mountain with steps that were neither light nor heavy. Just then she glimpsed a man sitting on a rock on the ridge.
Yuri was worried that he was lost, so she cautiously approached this wanderer who seemed to be in the same situation as herself.
"Are you lost? I can take you down the mountain... Ah!"
The man's body was supported by a thin crutch. He moved with difficulty but stood upright on the rock on the ridge. His eyes were full of stars, which made his sad look particularly bright.
"I came here to look for stars. I finally climbed up and saw the stars, but now I don't know how to get down the mountain."
His helpless voice made Yuri's heart tremble slightly.
"Let me help you!"
For some reason, Yuri was determined to help the man, so she carried him on her back and started down the mountain. On the way down the mountain, they talked about their hometowns and the dreams that they could not let go of.
Perhaps the starlight was so bright that every ordinary sentence they spoke seemed to radiate light and was unforgettable. After walking down the mountain safely, just as Yuri was about to say goodbye to him, the man said.
"Because of a Warden like you, I can have my dreams. Thank you so much!"
Before Yuri could explain, the man limped away. He might have mistaken Yuri for a Warden, but those words unexpectedly became a powerful force for Yuri.
Yuri was quite excited to find out that being a Warden could motivate others so much.
"It's time to go! To Pharos!"
Yuri ran towards Pharos at a brisk pace.
Young Warden! How's your day today?
Have you trained well? Did you eat well? Was there any delay in the mission?
I am so happy to see that you have a fulfilling day today! As a senior, there is nothing more satisfying than seeing the juniors making continuous progress!
Huh? My senior? Of course, I also have many seniors. They are all very good people. If I were to name the senior who impressed me the most, it would definitely be Theodore.
When I first became a Warden, aside from being a Nemonic, I was just a regular country boy. At the time, I didn't even know what a Warden was supposed to do. I just joined out of admiration for the role. Looking back, it feels like a miracle that I became a Warden. I guess luck really does play a part.
As a result, the curator, Nain, who was worried about me, arranged for me to become the direct disciple of Theodore. This surprised many people because Theodore was the instructor for new Wardens and didn't normally take direct disciples.
Thinking back, Theodore must have put a lot of effort into teaching me. He never gave up on me and always taught me sincerely.
Of course, it wasn't just Theodore. Many other seniors helped me as well. Thanks to their support, I became a competent Warden. Looking at these people who helped me, I've made a vow: one day, I'll be the kind of senior who helps the younger generation.
Later, I learned that Curator Nain arranged for Theodore and me to be together so we could influence each other. I could learn how to be a Warden from Theodore, while he could learn flexibility and cheerfulness from me.
Just as the curator had hoped, I learned a lot from him on what it takes to be a Warden.
Ah, you wanna know the result? Do you think he has changed?
The girl's hometown is a small village.
The dense trees blocked out the sky, forming a dark forest. The endless grassland stretches to the end of the horizon. This is a remote countryside that is hardly visited by tourists.
To the young girl, the world is the grasslands and forests around her. To her, who had never seen the outside world, all this seemed so vast.
One day, a visitor came to the village. She was a woman in strange clothes. She called herself a Warden.
"Warden? What a unique name!"
"Warden is not a name... Never mind."
The Warden said she needed to stay in the village for several months for work. The girl went to see her every day. Every time the girl came to visit, the Warden would greet her with a smile.
The Warden would occasionally tell the girl stories about the outside world. Those stories about the other side of the horizon are stories about a vast world that the girl has never heard of. These novel stories make the girls' hearts beat faster.
"But are those stories true? Are those things really out there?"
"Kid, do you get tricked every day or something? Why don't you see for yourself?"
Though uncertain, Yuri still reached for the Warden's hand. Curiosity burned in her heart—she had to know what lay beyond the horizon she once thought was the edge of the world.
Days of travel led them to sights far beyond Yuri's wildest dreams. Strange creatures, bustling crowds, towering structures—
Everything was so different from her quiet village.
"It's amazing! It's nothing like home!"
"And there are places even bigger and more magnificent than this."
"That's great! When I grow up, I want to travel the world like you!"
"Haha, I'm sure you will."
Before long, the Warden's quest was complete, and she left the village. It wasn't until much later that Yuri learned the truth—Warden wasn't a name, but a title for the Nemonic in Pharos.
And anyone could become a Warden—if they went to Pharos. Then I can travel around the world like her.
That was it. That was the reason. A small, yet deeply important reason.
Don't you think chicks are amazing? That tiny little yellow fluff ball—so cute! Watching them waddle around just makes me feel happy.
When I was a kid, my family had a few chicks. About six of them, and they were all adorable. Whenever I had free time, I'd run to the yard just to watch them walk around. But then... one day, a wild beast from the mountains came down and ate them all. I cried so much.
In short! Anyway! I love chicks. Without a doubt, they're the cutest animals in the world. That's why my favorite book is Chicken Detectives!
It's such a great book. Not only is it a fun mystery novel, but the main character is a cute little chick!
I love collecting Chicken Detectives books. Whenever I travel for a quest from Pharos, I always check out the local bookstores. Did you know? Even if it's the same book, the covers are slightly different in different regions. Hardcore fans even travel all over just to collect every version. Some people say it's just a marketing scheme to make fans spend more money, though.
I'm not that extreme, but I do have quite the collection. I even own some super rare, limited-edition merch that even die-hard fans struggle to get! Wanna see? I'll make an exception for you.
Huh? You know someone who also loves Chicken Detectives? Hehehe! I'd love to meet them! When it comes to Chicken Detectives devotion, I, Warden Yuri, won't lose to anyone!
