Version 1.2 Preview

The team previewed several systems planned for the 1.2 update:

Legendary Conquest — Regular Season & Legendary Monsterlings The preseason introduced with the May 27 update has been reviewed. In the regular season, players will be able to obtain and grow Legendary Monsterlings, with more meaningful and visible rewards than the preseason offered.

Monsterling Improvements (Trait Reset & Trait Enhancement) Version 1.2 will overhaul the Monsterling system. The Dispatch System will increase Monsterling supply and adjust mutation acquisition rates to make targeted farming easier. The team’s goal is to shift the experience from passive collection to active crafting — build the exact Monsterlings you want and match them to characters.

Field Dispatch System The Dispatch System operates on a regional basis, with one dispatch per region per day. When a dispatch is active in a region, field farming in that area is paused. Final dispatch limits are still being finalized.

Equipment Crafting Improvements Material acquisition from Conquest will be adjusted, and events/operational rewards will actively support crafting. For footwear specifically, role-specific attributes are being added to ease the main stat hurdle that was the first major difficulty in crafting. All existing equipment will be updated automatically — once you reach the stat you want through power-up, you can equip it immediately.

Mobile Key Customization Version 1.2 adds free-form repositioning and resizing of combat UI elements on mobile: v-pad, skill button area, tag area, tag cooldown display, and banners. This has been in discussion since launch.

Summer Festival & Story MONGIL: STAR DIVE’s first Summer Festival is scheduled to begin in July.

Q&A Highlights

  • Summer Festival map — planned to remain accessible permanently after the event ends
  • PvP / Guilds — no current plans
  • Dimensional Rift Rift Ticket multiplier — positively under consideration but not confirmed; technical review ongoing
  • Dimensional Rift mid-boss visibility — improvement being prepared after Monsterling/equipment crafting work
  • PlayStation version — development is progressing smoothly, testing underway; announcement coming once preparations are complete
  • Rift Ticket overflow — team is considering multiplier options but nothing finalized
