Neverness to Everness goes into maintenance on July 29, 2026 to launch its next S-Class character,
Iroi
, alongside a matching limited Arc and a full slate of side events. Appraisers who logged in before the maintenance window also get a compensation package for the downtime.
Maintenance Window
- Duration: July 29, 2026, 06:00 – 11:00 (UTC+8)
- Pink Paws Heist: closed from 05:30 (UTC+8), restored after maintenance
- Compensation: 300 Annulith
- Eligibility: Appraisers who created their character before July 29, 2026, 06:00 (UTC+8)
- Distribution: sent via in-game mail after maintenance; claim before the rewards expire
The “Before the Dawn” Limited Board closes at 05:59 (UTC+8) on July 29 — anyone still holding cosmetic rewards on that board needs to redeem them from the Resolve Perks page before it ends.
Iroi’s Launch Board and Arc
- New S-Class character: Iroi, available July 29 (after update) through August 19, 05:59 (UTC+8)
- Unlock requirement: complete the main story quest “Prologue - A New Destination - Head to Eibon Antique Shop”
- Board: “The Lifeline” Limited Board, featuring Iroi alongside A-Class characters Haniel, Aurelia, and Skia, plus the “Sheepcopter” glider livery, the “Three’s Company” B100 livery, and Iroi’s “Archmage” outfit
- Wayfarer Perks: guaranteed rewards at 50/120/200 cumulative rolls on the board, in addition to random pulls before those milestones
- New limited S-Class Arc: “The Wrong Gate,” unlocked through the same story quest and obtained via the “Dreamgate Special” Arc Research Program using Tri-Keys or Dreamgate Keys — this Arc is only available through that program for now
Iroi also gets three additional outfits during the update: Dreamweaver and Summer Dream at a discount in the shop through August 19, plus Channeling…, purchasable from the “999 Nights” Button Shop, and Starlit Night, unlocked after reaching Bond Level 10 with her.

- “Going, Going, Gone!” (July 29 – August 19, 05:59 UTC+8): an auction-style event rewarding the “Highest Bidder Wins” title, the “Choice” avatar frame, the “Deal!” namecard, Annulith, Fabricated Dice, Fons, Floe Cinema Tickets, and Anomaly Pilgrimage Material Selection Boxes
- “Fishing Frenzy” (August 3 – August 19, server time): fish at the Sea Angler - Nacupeda Park spot for Annulith, Floe Cinema Tickets, Elite Hunter Guides, Chaotic Dye, and the Manhole Boss
- “Warren Lucky Flip” (August 5 – August 19, server time): complete daily missions for card flips that unlock the “Matcha Mood” Rover A1 livery, Annulith, Fabricated Dice, Elite Hunter Guides, and Chaotic Dye
- “Pixel Surge” (August 3 – August 10, server time): double rewards on up to 120 Character Pixels spent per day (unused allowance carries over, capped at 840 total) in Houdinii’s Magic Stage, Houdinii’s Schemes, Bubble Can Factory, and Rabbit Hole
- “Fons Rush” (August 10 – August 17, server time): double Fons output from City Stamina spent on Hethereau Hobbies, up to a 700 Stamina cap (Fons from Races > Challenge is excluded)
The update also adds Bond quests, Bond interactions (including a passenger-seat ride-along at the required Bond Level), text message conversations, and a combat tutorial for Iroi, plus a new City Hangouts story and Home Time Invitation mode featuring her.
