Analysis

The game's first limited dedicated healer. Her passive turns every heal into a team-wide Defense Ignore buff, and any ally who would be knocked out instead enters Regression until her ultimate revives them, removing survival as a bottleneck for aggressive, offense-first team comps.

Pros

4
Any ally reduced to 0 HP enters Regression instead of falling, and her ultimate can revive them outright — the most forgiving safety net of any sustain unit
Every heal grants the whole team a Defense Ignore buff, converting her sustain output directly into team damage
Ultimate branches on banked Imagination: low Imagination opens continuous team healing, high Imagination opens a damage window with a guaranteed revive
Scales purely on ATK, so her own stat investment doubles as team-wide offensive support instead of competing with DPS resources

Cons

3
Rigid rotation — top performance requires holding her Skill's Regression on the main carry consistently, adding a tracking task on top of piloting the DPS
Signature arc (The Wrong Gate) is a meaningful damage/utility step up over generic 5-star options, pushing full value toward heavier investment
Her ultimate can only revive one Regression-state ally per cast, so if several teammates go down at once the rest stay benched in Regression until the next dream window

Recommended Build

Role: Support / Healer

Iroi is built to slot into an offense-first team without the opportunity cost of a normal healer: healing is her only defensive tool, and Sympathetic Nerves turns it into a team-wide DEF Ignore buff on top of the heal itself. The Wrong Gate is best-in-slot with no real competition — it raises her own Anima DMG by up to 30% and all allies' DMG by 15% on every heal, converting the healing she already does constantly into a full team damage buff. Speedy Hedgehog's 4-piece stacks another 15% team ATK for 20s after her Ultimate, and its Charge Efficiency keeps that Ultimate online for revives. Because she scales on ATK — her team ATK buff, sheep attacks, and console bonus all key off it — ATK% and flat ATK take priority over Healing Bonus, with Anima DMG% and Energy Regen as secondary considerations; HP, DEF, and Healing Bonus are only worth building if the team needs more sustain than her base kit already provides. The core habit is keeping Regression on the main carry as consistently as possible, since it is both her survival tool and the setup for her Ultimate's revive.

Recommended Team

Main DPS

Carries the Lakshana overflow burst shell. Iroi's Regression safety net lets her run a fully offense-first lineup without spending a slot on a plain healer.

Lakshana Enabler

Extends Remora duration from 5s to 12s and adds CRIT Rate against marked enemies, keeping the reaction window open through Shinku's burst.

Instant Cycler

Instantly fills the Esper Cycle to keep Blossom and Remora firing every rotation without dead time.

Support / Healer

Covers the carry's survival through Regression instead of a traditional heal-only slot. Every heal also grants the team a DEF Ignore buff, converting her sustain directly into team damage.
