Neverness to Everness team guide for Starlit Encore: composition, Esper reactions, key synergies, rotation tips, pros and cons, and substitutes.

Starlit Encore

Akane's simplest team: two buffers up front, Blackbird for Stain and a team ATK buff, then Akane's own loop. There is little to get wrong.

Tier T0

Lakshana Lakshana Psyche Psyche

Team Composition

Main DPS

Ultimate, Rhythm Wave pressed or held, Basic Attacks into Synced Resonance, then the second stage of Sonic Boom. Built on full damage with Far Side of the Moon.

Sub DPS / Buffer

Stain on the swap to Akane and a 20% team ATK buff from her Ultimate. Wants at least 150 Cycle Intensity.

Buffer

Opens with Ultimate and Skill. Her stats barely matter, so she can lean towards damage.

Substitutes

Takes the slot if you do not have Sakiri.

Adds Remora and, with Iroi, Charge. Build her on Cycle Intensity; The Rain That Shook the World suits her, or a more damage-focused Arc.

Support / Healer

Skill and Ultimate for healing and buffs. Can take the Healing main stat, and either she or Sakiri carries Speedy Hedgehog.

Substitutes

A usable option without Iroi. Open with her, since she scales on HP and gains nothing from an ATK buff.

Esper Reactions

Duo Cycles

CosmosAnimaIncantationChaosPsycheLakshana
Stain Duo Cycle
Psyche Psyche Lakshana Lakshana

Increases the target's Psyche and Lakshana DMG taken by 20% for 12s after triggering Esper Cycle.

Resonance

Thrushsong

Stain Enhancement: Increases Stain's base DMG Bonus to 30% and extends its duration to 20s. Nova Enhancement: When Nova ends, deals additional Mental DMG equal to 20% of the actual total DMG taken by the target while Nova was active (excluding DMG dealt by the Support Skill that triggered Nova and by Nova itself), up to 1,000× Blackbird's Base ATK. This additional DMG is not affected by any other DMG Buffs or Debuffs. Inflicts Nova on the target once afterward. Prevents Nova inflicted by this effect from triggering the Nova reapplication effect again.

Triggered by: Blackbird → Akane swap

In this team: Raises the target's Psyche and Lakshana DMG taken by 20% for 12s, and Blackbird's Thrushsong lifts that base bonus to 30%.

Why It Works

Sakiri and Iroi stack their buffs first, Blackbird adds her 20% team ATK buff and triggers Stain on the swap, and Akane spends the whole buffed window on her own loop, with Stain raising the Lakshana damage she takes. Street Boxer's extra Crit Rate after a Stain trigger comes up every rotation.

Key Synergies

Stain on Akane

The swap from Blackbird to Akane triggers Stain, raising the target's Lakshana DMG taken just as Akane starts her loop.

Street Boxer

The four-piece adds 14% Crit Rate for 20s after the team triggers Remora or Stain, on top of its base 14%.

Speedy Hedgehog on a buffer

One of Sakiri or Iroi carries the set, adding a team ATK buff after their Ultimate before Akane comes in.

Rotation Tips

  1. 1

    Sakiri: Ultimate, then Skill

  2. 2

    Iroi: Skill, then Ultimate

  3. 3

Blackbird at A1: Ultimate, Ultimate, Skill; at A0: Skill, Ultimate, then swap out

  4. 4

Akane: Ultimate, press or hold Rhythm Wave, Basic Attack until Synced Resonance, cast it, then the second stage of Sonic Boom

  5. 5

With an A0 Blackbird, swap back at the end of Akane's rotation to spend her Malice

Pros & Cons

Pros

  • Simple to play: buffers, then Blackbird, then Akane
  • Akane's Reverb Field makes it just as comfortable in AoE content as against one target
  • Haniel and Fadia cover Sakiri and Iroi, so it bends to the roster

Cons

  • Wants at least 150 Cycle Intensity on Blackbird
  • Akane's Remora passive does nothing here
