Analysis
The most complete Incantation DPS in the roster. Reality and Illusion forms feed three damage channels at once — direct Incantation hits, stacking DoT, and Follow-up Attack damage — while Crimson Reverie hands her a full Esper Cycle the moment a fight opens.
Pros
5Cons
4Role: Main DPS
Ravenous Blade is the clear best in slot: Crit Rate as its secondary stat, another 16% Crit Rate from Cursed Blade – Soulbound, and a Crit DMG stack every time she deals Incantation DMG up to 7 times. Crimson: Twin Butterflies adds 10% Incantation DMG and an off-field ATK stack that ticks whenever the team lands Incantation damage, which her DoT does continuously. Her Console specialization is Type III at 16% Crit DMG per module, so the layout leans into Type III shapes with Crit Rate as the main attribute and crit substats ahead of ATK and Cycle Intensity. Fluff of Finesse is the fallback Arc: its ATK% statline and its element-agnostic damage bonus after a Critical Dodge both stay live on her, which the Cosmos-scaling passives on the other 5★ Gas Arcs do not. Shadow Creed covers the Console slot when the Incantation set is unavailable, since she casts a Redirect Skill twice per rotation.
Recommended Team
Main DPS
Cycles Reality and Illusion forms to stack Heartwrench and Scorch, then closes with Bloodfeast Reverie into a free enhanced Inferno Flamenco. Silent Sunset turns every ally DoT into extra Scorch stacks.
Scorch Enabler / DoT Amplifier
Second Incantation anchor and the strongest DoT multiplier available: Can I Eat This? amplifies DoT damage by up to +100% while Scorch is active. Devour Whole groups enemies so Nightmare Waltz spreads DoT across the whole pack.
Chaos Anchor / Sub DPS
Supplies the Chaos half of Scorch and adds her own Nightmare DoT to the pool that Silent Sunset and Can I Eat This? both read. Interchangeable with Daffodill for a free-to-play build.
Anima Anchor / Sustain
Opens the rotation with healing and ATK buffs, and her Anima element triggers Hexed on the swap into Incantation. Swapping her for Haniel trades Hexed for the Discord triple-cycle.

Resonance
Weakness Radar
Incantation
Chaos
Upon triggering Esper Cycle, inflicts Scorch on the target for 15s, dealing DoT.
Resonance
Moderate Mischief
Scorch Enhancement: Inflicts another instance of Scorch with the same effect as the existing one when a Power Word is generated on a target affected by Scorch.
Can I Eat This?
Scorch Enhancement: Increases DoT taken by the target by 25% for each type of DoT effect while in Scorch state, up to 100%.
Temperance
Scorch Enhancement: Applies one of three random debuffs whenever Scorch is inflicted on a target: -20% ATK, -10% Esper Resistance, or +10% Break Efficiency, lasting for 15s. The same effect cannot stack.
Silent Sunset
Scorch Enhancement: Scorch can be stacked up to 3 times. For each DoT effect allies inflict on a target afflicted with Scorch, Zankou inflicts 1 stack of Scorch on them, replacing the DMG, type, and duration of existing Scorch on the target with those of the newly inflicted effect. Scorch inflicted by this effect cannot trigger it again.
