The Fair: NTE's Summoning System
Neverness to Everness addresses player fatigue with predatory gacha mechanics head-on. Its summoning architecture — called "The Fair" — is engineered to be one of the most F2P-friendly systems in the genre, built on transparency and statistical guarantees rather than high-variance luck.
Instead of blind pulls, players move across a Board visualizer, tracking tangible progress toward high-value rewards with every roll.

Core Mechanics at a Glance
| Mechanic | Details |
|---|---|
| Dice System | Spend dice to move 1–6 tiles forward; rewards based on the landing tile. |
| Base S-rank Rate | 1.87% — significantly above industry averages. |
| Board Modification | Triggers at 70 pulls, jumping rates to 19.59%. |
| Bonus A-rank Guarantee | Every 100 pulls grants a bonus A-rank character. |
| Pull Cost | 1 Dice = 160 Anulith · 10-pull = 1,600 Anulith |
No 50/50: Character Acquisition Guarantee
The single most pro-consumer mechanic in NTE is the complete removal of the 50/50 on limited character banners. Where other games force a coin flip on reaching pity, NTE guarantees the featured character directly.
| Rule | Details |
|---|---|
| Hard Pity | 100% guarantee of the featured S-rank at 90 pulls maximum. |
| Board Modification | At 70 pulls the board shifts to a dramatically higher S-rank frequency — most players acquire the unit before 90. |
| Bonus A-rank | Every 100 pulls grants an additional A-rank character, independent of standard rolls. |
| Absolute Grounding | Pity progress is permanent and carries over across all limited character banners. |

Within the Limited Board, characters can be secured via direct tile landings or through redemption based on cumulative summon volume — a dual-track model ensuring resource expenditure always yields meta-progression.
Arc Research: Weapon Acquisition
Arcs (weapons) are the primary drivers of character optimization. The Arc Research banner is structured differently to reflect this, tuned for high-frequency S-rank drops to enable build diversity.

| Pity Rule | Details |
|---|---|
| Base Rate | 3% (4.19% including incremental pity). |
| First Guarantee | Guaranteed S-rank Arc at 60 pulls. |
| Targeted Guarantee | If the first S-rank is not the featured weapon, the target is guaranteed at 80 pulls. |
| Pity Carryover | Progress carries over between limited Arc Research banner rotations. |
F2P Tip: Very strong Arcs can be obtained directly from world bosses. This lets you bypass Arc gacha for secondary characters and reserve Tri-Keys exclusively for signature weapons on your primary DPS.
Currency Reference
| Currency | Purpose | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Anulith | Premium currency | 160 per pull / 1,600 per 10-pull |
| Fabricated Dice | Standard Board | Permanent, non-limited character pool |
| Solid Dice | Limited Board | Featured character banners only |
| Tri-Keys | Arc Research | Weapon-specific; 10 Tri-Keys per multi-pull |
| Fawns | In-game currency | Earned via play; used for free cosmetic purchases |
Cosmetic Milestones — Important Warning
Limited banners unlock outfit milestones at 50, 120, and 200 pulls (gliders, car skins, character outfits).
⚠️ Critical: Unlike character and weapon pity, the Cosmetic Counter does NOT carry over when a banner expires. Progress toward the 200-pull outfit is lost at banner end — however, the counter is saved for that banner's future rerun. F2P players should factor this in to avoid dead resource expenditure.

The Awakening System
NTE's Awakening system redefines duplicate progression with two key advantages over industry standards:
- Free node selection — Unlock Awakening bonuses in any order. Jump straight to the 6th-node equivalent with a single duplicate instead of unlocking mediocre bonuses first.
- Re-spec at any time — Change your Awakening selections freely for specific boss encounters or team roles, at zero resource cost.

For F2P players, a single duplicate provides immediate access to a character's most powerful node. The baseline power of a C0 character remains sufficient for all endgame content.

NTE's launch incentives are designed to hand you a complete meta-team from day one.
