What every trading post in Suikoden STAR LEAP stocks, what a material pays in Trade Points at each grade, and which towns buy it at three or four...

Seven towns run a trading post. Every one of them buys any material at the same standard rate and sells goods of its own, and all of it is paid for in Trade Points rather than potch — each town keeping its own, so what is earned in Rockland is spent in Rockland. What changes from town to town is the shelf, and which materials that town will pay a premium for.

How a trading post works

Trade Points
Selling materials earns that town's Trade Points — 10 units of one material per sale, at any grade — and its own shelf is the only place they can be spent.
High Demand
A town has 5 materials in High Demand at a time, bought at x3 or x4 the standard rate. Which ones change with the weekly reset, and so does everything on the shelf.
What a town wants
A town pays the premium only on what it does not have. Nothing a trading post sells is ever on the same town's High-Demand list, so the run that pays is always the one carrying a material into a town that stocks none of it.
Sold nowhere else
A few materials are sold at a trading post and gathered nowhere else — the S-grade lines, kept at quality 1 for a flat price.
Switch Products
Switch Products draws a new lineup and forfeits whatever was left unbought — 5,000 potch, then 20,000 potch, and no more after that.
The shelf
A shelf holds 66 lines, 70 from Favor 3 and 75 from Favor 4. Trading will not carry a town's Favor to the top on its own; the rest comes from Helping Hand.

What a material is worth

Every town pays the same for the same grade. What differs is which of them will pay several times that, and which of them sells it.
