NTE Sept 9 Update: Linko Debuts, Hotori Returns

Maintenance on September 9, 2026 from 06:00 to 11:00 (UTC+8) brings the second half of Version 1.3: Limited S-Class Linko debuts, Hotori reruns beside her, and four events open across the rest of September.

Maintenance and Compensation

Pink Paws Heist closes at 05:30, half an hour before the servers go down, and reopens once maintenance is over.

Clear Your Zankou Board First

The Zankou Limited Board “Alluring Shadows” ends on September 9 at 05:59 (UTC+8) — before maintenance, not after it. Its skin and outfit rewards are claimed from the Alluring Perks event page, and anything left there when the board closes goes with it.

Surfing All Channels — Linko

• Runs: September 9 (after update) – September 30, 05:59 (UTC+8)
• Rate-up: S-Class Linko , with A-Class Haniel , Aurelia and Skia

Sync Perks runs alongside the board and pays out at 50, 120 and 200 cumulative rolls: the “Super Specter” glider livery, the “Turbo Linko” livery set for the Yesteryear bicycle, and Linko’s “Surfing Among Stars” outfit. All three can also drop from the board itself before you reach those milestones.

Misty Tipsy Style — Hotori Rerun

• Runs: September 9 (after update) – September 30, 05:59 (UTC+8)
• Rate-up: S-Class Hotori , with the same three A-Class characters

Hourglass Perks works the way Sync Perks does, at the same 50/120/200 thresholds, for the “Orchid Breeze” glider livery, the “Autumn Haze” Blizzard-V4 motorcycle livery and Hotori’s “Priceless Orchid” outfit. Only rolls on Misty Tipsy Style count toward it — each board tracks its own progress, and progress carries over only between boards of the same name.

Two S-Class Arcs

Both run to September 30, 05:59 (UTC+8), and each Arc is available through its own program and nowhere else.

Linko’s Outfits and the Yesteryear

• Faded Spring — Riftcrystal x1,680 until September 30, down from x2,480, then permanent in the shop at full price.
• Surfing Among Stars — from the Surfing All Channels board or the Sync Perks page.
• Couch Potato — unlocked at Bond Lvl 10 with Linko.
• Yesteryear — a new bicycle, Fons x800,000 at the Ticking Back bike shop, permanent.

Linko also brings a City Hangouts story, a Home Time invitation, Bond quests, text conversations and a passenger-seat ride-along, all gated behind obtaining her and reaching the Bond Level each one asks for.

Four Events

Runaway Echoes is the endless-battle mode, and it has its own rules and rewards.

Breezy Tour pays Annulith, Eternal Shell Songs, Elite Hunter Guides and Chaotic Dye for completing a character’s Cycling Invitation, which unlocks that character’s bike ride-along. The Invitations stay available through Random Encounters after the event ends.

Pixel Surge doubles the rewards from Character Pixels spent in Houdinii’s Magic Stage, Houdinii’s Schemes, Bubble Can Factory and Rabbit Hole. The doubling covers 120 Character Pixels a day, unused allowance rolls forward, and the event caps at 840 in total.

Fons Rush doubles Fons from Hethereau Hobbies for up to 700 City Stamina — one full week’s accumulation.

Fixes Worth Knowing

• Bopp could lose its health bar or clip out of the arena in phase two, leaving the fight unwinnable.
• Lacrimosa’s “Scorch” dealt incorrect cycle damage while she and Zankou were deployed together.
• The “Golden Fortune” buff did not trigger properly.
• Characters could fall through the map when leaving Beyond the Rails.

Two changes land outside the bug list: a combat target’s status bar now shows five buffs instead of three, and Gauntlet of Valor has had its monster difficulty adjusted. 999 Nights also gains two equipment sets and two accessories, dropped at random from jars on floors 71 to 99 of Gauntlet of Valor and from the Mysterious Fuzzy Merchant on Nightmare.
