Suikoden STAR LEAP released Ver. 1.3.0 after maintenance on October 29, 2026, 12:00–18:00 JST. Its headline is the Transient Chamber (限期の間), a very hard Mirage Tower mode fought with two formations at once, whose coins buy SSR Zegai and SSR Fukien. The same update opens The Moon & Ninjas Event RPG and the Whirlwind War Blade banner.

The Transient Chamber

The Transient Chamber is a permanent Mirage Tower mode whose challenge changes every period. It unlocks once you clear floor 1 of the Perpetual Chamber.

  • Two battles per floor. Every floor is fought as Battle 1 and Battle 2, each with its own formation, and you clear the floor by winning both.
  • Same name, different epithet. One character cannot sit in both formations, but two versions of a character with different epithets can: SSR Hisui (Hidden Power) in Battle 1 and 108 Stars Hisui (Manor Servant) in Battle 2 is allowed.
  • Restarting after an update. When the challenge changes, you start three floors below the highest floor you reached. Reach floor 5 and the next period starts on floor 2. Floors below your starting point count as cleared, pay their clear rewards, and keep any missions you had completed on them.

The first period has five floors and runs until November 30, 2026, 11:59 JST.

Rewards and Crescent Coins

Each floor pays Potch on its first clear, 456,000 across the five:

Floor 1 2 3 4 5
Potch 48,000 72,000 96,000 120,000 120,000

Each floor also has three missions. Every three missions completed across the period pay 300 Crescent Coins, so all 15 missions are worth 1,500 Crescent Coins. Crescent Coins carry over from one period to the next.

The Exchange

Item Price Limit
Zegai Zegai 1,500 1
Fukien Fukien 1,500 1
Firmly Resolute Piece ×35 (Zegai) 300 30
Expounding Monk Piece ×35 (Fukien) 300 30
Hero Piece 20 35
Rune Piece (S) 10 4
Rune Piece (M) 25 8
Rune Piece (L) 100 4

A full period’s 1,500 coins buys exactly one of the two SSRs.

The Great Tree Coin Exchange also adds an alternate art for SSR Fukien at 50 Great Tree Coins. It changes his art only and does not give you the character.

Bounties

  • Elite Bounty: “Defeat Turgedona” adds Lv. 70. Its first clear pays the Evil Rock Ring, an S-rank accessory for Earth users that raises Magic ATK by 5% on an Earth attack.
  • Potch Privilege Bounty: added on October 22. A run costs 100 Privilege Tickets, a clear pays 60,000 Potch, and it can be cleared five times a day.

Other Changes

  • Nightmare Battlefield: the third season, 第3次 侵蝕, has started. Replays and detail logs from before the update can no longer be viewed; the results list still can.
  • Letters in the Box of Wishes. Companions now send letters to the Box of Wishes when conditions are met, and each one pays Fantasy Stones.
  • Group meals. Auto-selection for regular group meals can now prefer low-quality ingredients, which keeps the high-quality ones free. Special group meals show the total ingredients the whole course needs, so it is easier to see what is missing.
  • Select all in the item shop’s and armor shop’s bulk purchase, limited by stock and the Potch you hold.
  • War battles on Auto now use martial skills by themselves, depending on the situation and each skill’s trigger conditions. Nightmare Battlefield is not included.
  • Fishing on Auto is more accurate.
  • Voice playback was adjusted in some stories that are not fully voiced.
  • On devices with 4 GB of memory or less, recruited characters now appear in the village, though fewer of them than on devices with more memory.

Memoria Sync

A later update will add quality 6 memoria and a feature called Sync. Ver. 1.3.0 already shows a Sync button on the memoria details screen and a quality 6 option in the filter, but neither works until quality 6 memoria are released.

Known Issues

  • Slowdown after updating. Some devices run slowly on Ver. 1.3.0. Setting 3D rendering quality to Low and heat suppression to OFF under Options > Rendering may help. On Android, locking the screen refresh rate to 60 Hz can also help: on Galaxy devices that is Settings > Display > Motion smoothness > Standard; on Pixel, turn off Smooth Display.
  • Black screen in The Moon & Ninjas. Episode 1’s story can stay on a black screen on some devices when the message speed is ×3. Restarting the app and setting that story’s message speed back to normal may let it continue.
