Sera's power derives from her access to Ophelia's sig. With it, she is a powerhouse of a main DPS unit, capable of outdpsing at minimum A2 Ophelia. With Narae, she keeps pace with Ophelia all the way up to A6 Ophelia.
Sera's kit may seem intimidating at first, but it comes down to two things: 1. Use skill or Ult to charge blue bar, which makes BA do big damage 2. Use BA to charge yellow bar, which makes skill do big damage
The most basic way to play Sera is to get a full bar of blue and mash BAs and Skills when they become available. There are ways to play Sera that better takes advantage of Ophelia's sig effect durations, but I'll leave that as an exercise to the reader. This playstyle would require CDR on monsterlings.
Overall, this character is an amazing alternative to medium investment Ophelia that is well worth building.
Note: Sera is quite weak without Ophelia's sig. You do kinda need it for her to compare with Cloud.
At the start of the fight, have Sera do a full spin to charge Lacrima. For the remainder of the fight, her Ultimates will charge Lacrima and you never have to spin again.

Sera is a magical keymaker who has mysteriously lost her ability to unlock doors, on a quest to uncover the truth behind her parents' disappearance. Despite having mastered the art of unlocking magical barriers, she still struggles to unlock the hearts of others.
Sera deals Physical DMG by swinging Arkarion and gains Laxima Energy.

While spinning, enemies within range are pulled towards her. Upon releasing the Special Skill button, she raises Laxima to render enemies Airborne. (Total DMG remains the same regardless of when the button is released.)
If enemies are too far, she approaches them quickly before spinning. Sera can move slowly while spinning.

Story
The Only Child
Sera was born in Epitar, the thriving capital of Herma, as the only child of the Vanderbilts, one of the city's most powerful and influential couples.
Her parents, Cyrus and Aurora, were genius magi and pioneers of magical automations. Their groundbreaking inventions and production of magical devices revolutionized productivity across magus society, and they amassed incredible wealth and prestige. They struggled to conceive until a later age when they finally had Sera, and they hoped she would grow into a worthy successor.
However, Sera had no interest in fulfilling the expectations of others. In an effort to discipline her, her father enrolled her into Deldoer Magic Academy, a school infamous for its rigid rules and curriculum.
At first, Sera behaved cautiously, just like her father had hoped. But before long, she began to dominate the student body and the faculty with her wealth and power.
The Magic Academy's Keymaker
Highly competitive and proud, Sera often found herself seething with jealousy whenever fellow students were praised for their magical talent.
That envy drove her to focus on her studies, and one specific branch of magic held special interest to her. Sera was able to use her family's wealth to control anything, even her friends, but there was one thing money couldn't buy. The key to her father's storage vault.
Sera began studying everything related to magical seals, and as time passed, her power grew. By her fifth year, she was able to solve most seals with a single touch. She also invented unique unlocking spells only she could wield.
This earned her the nickname "The Keymaker" among her peers. Finally, she was able to unlock even her father's vault. Her parents were very pleased by her progress, but that wasn't enough to satisfy Sera.
Her eyes had already turned to something far more dangerous, the legendary lock, Laxima, and its counterpart, Arkarion. No one had ever laid claim to them, and Sera believed that she was destined to be their true master.
A Critical Price
In Elbraha Plateau, the heart of the continent, Sera discovered the "World's Navel." There, sealed away by their ancient creators, were two legendary artifacts: the cursed lock, Laxima, and its key, Arkarion.
Sera descended down the sealed staircase using a special magical device stolen from her father's vault and finally set her hands on the legendary key.
However, Laxima was not an ordinary magical lock. As Sera removed the key Laxima warned, "Power demands a price." Sera would pay with what she held most dear. But Sera wasn't too concerned; she assumed she would lose some jewels or a magical device.
Upon unlocking Laxima's seal and returning home, she was shocked to hear that her parents had gone missing. Laxima's curse had truly taken what she held most dear: her family.
Beginning the Journey
Determined to find her parents, Sera spared no expense. She hired multiple magi to study Laxima's curse.
After extensive research, she concluded that her parents were not dead, but likely trapped within a space known only as the "Still Room." A timeless void where nothing could die.
However, those who opened this room would have to pay a price. They would lose all their memories of Arkarion and all that they'd attained with it.
Without hesitation, Sera decided to embark on a journey to find her parents. She packed Laxima in her designer bag and began her journey across unknown dimensions.
To use Laxima's power, she had to fulfill various "promises," but Sera pressed on, driven by the singular vow: to bring her parents home.
The Path of No Return
Searching for traces of her parents, Sera journeyed through countless doors across Belana and arrived in Solismenamus.
Months later, after having fulfilled all of Laxima's demands but still unable to find her parents, Sera decided to return home. She tried to summon the power of Arkarion, but for some reason, a door wouldn't open.
After trying several times, she was shocked to realize that she could no longer open doors. She didn't know why the key no longer responded. Now, in order to find her parents, she had to find a way to restore the key's power.
She suspected that the Void, which had begun to taint this world, had affected the key's powers, and contacted Monster Tamers to find a group of adventurers rumored to be pursuing the Void phenomenon.
