Introduction
Donna is a 5-Star Aqua Versatile Range Tracker and the founder of Post Haste, the mail-delivery company that gives her team its name. Her kit is built around a meaningful choice: play her on-field as an auto-attack DPS, or run her off-field as a high-motion-value sub-DPS anchored entirely around her Support Skill.
The answer, in virtually all current content, is off-field. Her Support Skill Tide Threader carries a 5,522% motion value at level 10 — one of the highest single values in the game — and its AoE combined with Aqua Mark application makes Donna a premier sub-DPS debuffer. Her Main Skill Rain Call: Volley Chase summons an Advertising Doll that grants Agile status (enabling movement while attacking) and provides field safety via taunt, but the Doll's minion damage scaling is currently inconsistent and cannot reliably utilise support buffs.

Skills
Piercing Shot — Auto Attack
A stationary bow attack that pierces through targets. Unlike most characters, Donna is locked in place while shooting — this was intentional and remains central to her identity. Her superior range provides natural safety, and the Agile status from Rain Call: Volley Chase grants the mobility other Trackers have by default.
Rain Call: Volley Chase — Main Skill
Summons an Advertising Doll that deals AoE Aqua damage over time, taunts nearby enemies, and applies Aqua Mark: Torrent and Chill on hit. While the Doll is active, Donna gains Agile status, allowing her to move during auto-attacks.
Caveat: Doll damage scales off minion damage, which is currently buggy and does not interact correctly with most character buffs. On-field minion-focused builds are not currently viable for high-end content.
Tide Threader — Support Skill
Donna fires a volley of Snow-Piercing Arrows followed by a Frost Wave, dealing AoE Aqua damage along the path. This ability inflicts Aqua Mark: Torrent on hit. At level 10 it carries a 5,522% motion value — her core off-field damage source and the reason she is meta.
Important: Tide Threader inflicts Aqua Marks rather than triggering them. Team compositions that rely on mark triggers to activate buffs will not synergise well with this skill.
Argent Cascade — Ultimate
Rains arrows across a wide AoE, dealing Aqua damage over time. The raw damage is modest, but the very low energy cost makes frequent casting practical — making it more useful as a Potential proc trigger than as a primary damage source.
Skill Upgrade Priority
Support Skill > Main Skill > Ultimate | Auto Attack last
- Tide Threader first — your primary damage source in all off-field builds; every level meaningfully raises the motion value.
- Rain Call: Volley Chase second — required for Pink Potentials that scale with Main Skill level.
- Argent Cascade third — improves burst windows and keeps Potential procs cycling.
- Piercing Shot last — auto-attack output is far outpaced by Tide Threader's scaling in any meta build.
Potentials & Builds
Donna's two playstyles require completely different Potential trees. Commit to one to avoid spreading resources thin.
Off-Field DPS (Meta)
Best for Boss Blitz and all endgame content.
Donna
Recommended Potentials
Unleashed Arrow
Lv. 6
The Support Skill fires additional Snow-Piercing Arrows to deal DMG based on the number of Aqua Trekkers in the squad.
Arrowfall Reckoning
Lv. 6
When Snow-Piercing Arrow deals DMG, the arrow tail is left on the target. When the skill ends, pulls out the arrow tail to deal DMG.
Arrow Pursuit
Lv. 6
When Snow-Piercing Arrow deals multiple instances of DMG to Donna's target, deals additional DMG.
Frostbitten Arrow
Lv. 6
When Snow-Piercing Arrow deals multiple instances of DMG to Donna's target, increases the target's Aqua DMG Taken.
Dead Shot
Lv. 6
Snow-Piercing Arrow immediately defeats targets with low HP and deals increased DMG to elites and bosses with low HP.
The Unleashed Arrow + Arrowfall Reckoning combination is the foundation. Together they allow Donna to place up to 30 arrow tails on enemies, which detonate for massive burst damage at the end of Tide Threader. Arrow Pursuit enhances arrow count and tracking, while Frostbitten Arrow adds an Aqua DMG Taken debuff that benefits the entire squad.
Dead Shot is optional — useful in arena content where the execute mechanic can close out weakened enemies cleanly.
Wave Synergy (Mono-Aqua only)
Requires a full Aqua squad to activate.
Donna
Recommended Potentials
Wave-Chasing String
Lv. 6
Increases Frost Wave's DMG and Attack Range. When the entire squad consists of Aqua Trekkers, the Support Skill generates more Frost Waves.
Stray Arrow
Lv. 6
Each time the Support Skill generates a Frost Wave, additionally creates Frost Wave Orbs that track the target and deal AoE DMG.
Water Ripple
Lv. 6
Increases the Base ATK of Aqua Trekkers in the squad.
Chilling Onslaught
Lv. 6
Upon its first shot, the Support Skill creates a Frost Wave.Increases the Skill DMG dealt by Frost Wave.
Wave-Chasing String triggers additional wave attacks every three arrows, dramatically increasing AoE coverage and effective range. It has a hard activation requirement: Mono-Aqua team only. Stray Arrow generates tracking forest orbs whenever a wave connects. This build trades single-target burst for sustained AoE pressure — strong in wave-clear content, less relevant in boss encounters.
On-Field DPS
Only recommended if you lack another Aqua carry.
Donna
Recommended Potentials
Azure Night
Lv. 6
While Donna is in Agile State, her Auto Attacks deal additional DMG.
Condensation Orbs
Lv. 6
Extends the duration of Donna's Agile State. While Agile State is active, Auto Attacks accumulate water orbs which will all be fired to deal DMG after Agile State ends.
Tidal Echo
Lv. 6
When Donna's Auto Attacks deal DMG while she is in Agile State, increases the target's Aqua DMG Taken.
Piercing Arrow Rain
Lv. 6
When Donna's Auto Attacks deal DMG to targets inflicted with Aqua Mark: Torrent/Chill while she is in Agile State, increases her Base ATK.
Azure Night adds spikes to Donna's auto-attacks that scale off Skill damage — at level 10 this effectively doubles auto-attack output and is the cornerstone of any on-field build. Condensation Orbs extends Agile status by 3 seconds and spawns orbs that burst for damage when the Advertising Doll expires.
Note: Teresa, the premier Aqua buffer, boosts auto-attack damage, but Donna's on-field Potentials scale off skill damage — a mismatch that caps this build's ceiling compared to on-field characters designed specifically for it.
Talents
Donna is a strong T0 unit. Several talents provide limited returns for her primary meta role.
Courier's Aspiration — Talent 1
When the squad triggers an Aqua Mark, the target's Aqua DMG Taken increases by 5% for 6 seconds, stacking up to 3 times. Verdict: Donna's Support Skill inflicts marks rather than triggering them, so this talent sees low uptime in her best teams.
Memories of the Journey — Talent 2
When Donna casts a skill, Skill DMG increases by 28% for 10 seconds. Verdict: Numerically equivalent to roughly one purple Skill DMG line — modest and not transformative.
Dreams We Share — Talent 3 ⭐ Recommended stopping point
When Donna deals Skill DMG, increases Aqua DMG Taken by the target by 1% for 10 seconds, stacking up to 10 times (10% total). A universal team-wide debuff — her strongest duplicate and the natural stopping point for most players.
Drifter's Destination — Talent 4
When the squad triggers an Aqua Mark, Donna's Aqua DMG increases by 20% for 6 seconds. Verdict: A personal-only buff that requires mark triggers — low reliability in her meta team composition.
Our Post Haste — Talent 5
Donna deals 34% increased Skill DMG against elite or higher-tier enemies. High scaling against priority targets, but gated behind several low-value talents. Only pursue this with heavy long-term investment.
Recommendation: Stop at T0. T3 is the ideal milestone if you want her team-wide debuff. T5 is a niche payoff given the investment required to reach it.
Teams
Donna currently lacks a fully optimised team, but her strongest compositions revolve around the full Post Haste roster.
The Post Haste Team
The strongest available option.
Freesia runs on-field with high-frequency attacks, Donna fires Tide Threader off-field for her 5,522% MV burst, and
Teresa provides Aqua buffing and sustained support. All three are Post Haste members — this is Donna's intended team and benefits from both strong synergy and cohesive Aqua typing.
The Chitose Synergy
Chitose as the main on-field Vanguard, Donna off-field, Teresa providing support. This is currently Donna's weakest viable team — mechanical overlaps and mark-trigger requirements create friction that prevents the duo from reaching meta relevance. May improve significantly with future Aqua roster additions.
Wave Synergy (Budget / AoE)
A Mono-Aqua setup that unlocks the Wave-Chasing String potential. Replaces Teresa's universal buffs with Donna's sustained AoE wave chain for content with high enemy density. Use
Freesia or
Iris in the flex slot to maintain a full Aqua roster — Wave-Chasing String requires this to activate.

| On-Field DPS | Azure Night +3, Tidal Echo +3, Condensation Orbs +3 |
Donna's Signature Disc — Soaring Bloom
Her signature disc relies on the Bright Tide stacking mechanic (up to 20 stacks):
- 10 Stacks: Increases Aqua auto-attack damage taken by enemies
- 20 Stacks: Increases Aqua skill damage taken by enemies
Caveat: Donna's best role is off-field. Reaching 20 stacks requires sustained on-field presence, and the disc's strongest bonuses benefit the main-slot Tracker. In an off-field build, the signature disc's payoff is significantly reduced compared to generic alternatives. Only pull for it if you are committed to an on-field main DPS build.
Final Thoughts
Donna is a unit with a high ceiling that is currently underserved by the available roster. Her off-field Skill DMG is elite — a 5,522% motion value at level 10 is genuinely one of the game's highest — and she provides real team utility through Aqua Mark application and stacking debuffs. Her on-field potential, by contrast, is held back by minion scaling inconsistencies and buff-synergy mismatches with existing supports.
Pull advice: Donna is a solid T0 pull for players without a strong Aqua sub-DPS. She is not a mandatory must-pull if your Aqua coverage is already complete, and her signature disc has limited value outside a dedicated on-field build. Her long-term ceiling is tied to future Aqua roster additions — with the right Aqua attack-speed buffer she becomes significantly stronger.
These insights are based on community theorycrafting and anecdotal testing. Experiment with different build combinations to find what works best for your available gear and team.
