Since the day she entered the prison, her memories have been stained with blood. The once mundane and warm recollections now feel like false dreams, blurred and cracked, turning into sharp Fragments embedded in her Caro. She can no longer recall the gentle embrace or caring faces; only eternal hatred and Question remain in her heart. Pain, humiliation, Betrayal... What caused all this suffering? She asks herself daily, but until freedom arrives, no one answers. So, she decides to seek the answers herself, interrogating every dirty heart torn from their screaming chests.

I seem to be involved in some supernatural event, recording all my findings here... We were finishing our archaeology at Evrotas when I woke up and found the rest of the team had vanished, and the town looked like it reverted to a thousand years ago overnight. Ancient ruins had risen, restoring the town to its original state, including countless residents turned to skeletons. Excitement, shock, and fear gripped my mind. Despite having seen countless skeletons, I tremble at the sight before me. Anyone experiencing this would be even more terrified. Everyone in this town seemed to have been brutally massacred by one person. Skeletons lay in the streets, in houses. The town gate is inexplicably tightly closed, and bodies trying to escape but brutally killed piled up by the gate, forming a small hill of bones. I found no exceptions, men, women, old people, children... so many were killed by a massive blunt weapon, their bodies or heads smashed. Staring at the dry bones, I almost saw the blood flowing. What happened here? ... I searched aimlessly, found no clues until I entered the prison. The sight there was particularly gruesome, the perpetrator destroyed the entire prison in great anger. The walls had twisted, brownish words, seeming to be written in blood by someone dying, I carefully distinguished, it seemed to read "evil spirit". Evil spirit? Does this refer to the killer, or did the town truly experience some supernatural event? Indeed, slaughtering the entire town alone is unimaginable, only a true ghost could ruthlessly take so many lives. After leaving the prison, the town seemed to have subtly changed, I could smell a faint bloody scent. While I sought a way out, the sudden sound of chains echoed through the town, as if someone was dragging something heavy forward. Evil spirit! It's the evil spirit... it's after me! I heard it coming closer... I wish this were just a dream, that everything would disappear when I wake up, wait... the sound seems to be gone, maybe the spirit has left? ... Only when she occasionally Fainted could she close her eyes in peace—yet upon opening them, she would plunge once more into an endless nightmare. What had she done wrong? How had everything come to this? Her Resentment drifted aimlessly with nowhere to settle, unable to untangle the logic of Fate. Was it because she was guilty? But if she was guilty, then the guilt of Everyone else was tenfold. That hatred accumulated day by day into bitter fury, and the endless Anger Burning through her Blood night after night finally, one day, incinerated the cage that held her. The chains that had been Entwined around her for years now coiled around one screaming throat after another. Over the years, the chains had long since merged with her body—they fit her hands perfectly. Gripping those blood-soaked chains, she hunted down one filthy soul after another. Red, red, warm red, reeking red. See? She knew it all along—not a single soul among them was pure.

Her life's experiences seemed crafted to bring her suffering. Kindness, tolerance, compassion, trust—all the tender aspects of her humanity were torn away, discarded along with gory flesh. The word "forgiveness" was absent from her vocabulary; only the blood and hatred of others could resolve her own. Blood for blood, the fairest law revered by both warriors and slaves. A volcano that had simmered for a thousand years erupted in one night, and a hand crawled out of the underworld onto human soil. It was a vengeful spirit, seeking to flood the world with rivers of crimson.
