Codex

Introduction She was born in a land of poetry and roses; she is the spirit of poetry. The spirit wanders in dreams woven by words, rejoicing at the bloom of every ray of sunlight, weeping at the withering of every flower. She muses, she grieves, she yearns for the companionship of another soul. Later, in a courtyard blooming with flowers, a young gardener placed a rose before her. And so she blushed and smiled, gently taking the flower. "At last, I'm not alone anymore." At that moment, she believed it wholeheartedly.

Unlocks at Enlighten Level 1

Enlighten: Ponder

Unlocks at Enlighten Level 2

If you truly insist, I will step back into the sunlight... the very same sunlight as the day I left Cité...

Enlighten: Reflect

Unlocks at Enlighten Level 3

With invisible ink, I sketch the deformed buds... This ghostly and ethereal rose branch truly inspires poetic verse...

Enlighten: Insight

Unlocks at Enlighten Level 7

"Press closer, little Nightingale, or the Day will come before the rose is finished..."

Enlighten: Florish

Unlocks at Enlighten Level 15

I often feel as though I exist in the space between life and death. Wherever I am, melancholy spreads like a tide, and tragedies unfold, one after another. Even so, would you still wish for me to write a poem for you? Hmm... perhaps you deserve the sweetest one...

Affinity: I

Unlocks at Affinity Level 2

Someone once told me that poetry is written to be appreciated... May I hear your thoughts on this?

Affinity: II

Unlocks at Affinity Level 4

Have you ever felt this? Offering forgiveness for another's offense, only for the desired outcome to slip away. You extend a rose, yet your hands are left not with its lingering fragrance, but only the bloody marks of sharp thorns.

Affinity: III

Unlocks at Affinity Level 6

That day, the flames of jealousy spread like a sea of blood-red roses in full bloom... All poems turned to shattered ashes amidst the crimson tongues of fire.

Affinity: IV

Unlocks at Affinity Level 8

Forgive me, I lost myself in memories again. Please, do not look sad. It is your turn to narrate your story. Do you feel like writing a poem? Will your adventures, your experiences, your joys, your sorrows, flow like a gentle stream from your mind to your fingertips?

Affinity: V

Unlocks at Affinity Level 10

I was but a fleeting watermark on parchment, yet our encounter has caused me to linger. Perhaps this is a miracle. I will treasure this miracle and compose timeless poems for you.

Chat: Touch

Please, do not touch my neck... Just because you cannot see it does not mean it is not there.

Chat: About Liz

Unlocks after acquiring Awakener "Liz"

That beautiful ballerina lady... Her emerald-green flames are irresistible, even if they burn one to ashes...

Chat: About Tinct

Unlocks after acquiring Awakener "Tinct"

If poetry exists to praise beauty, then her very existence is like poetry itself. When she begins to sing, I suddenly understand what the elders described as a nightingale's voice...

Chat: About Nymphaea

Unlocks after acquiring Awakener "Nymphaea"

Every time I see Miss Nymphaea, I am reminded of that painting of water lilies. She carries the tranquil bitterness and fragrance of water lilies... I wonder what her world truly looks like?

Chat: About Sorel

Unlocks after acquiring Awakener "Sorel"

Madam Sorel is truly beautiful. Her strength and confidence, her graceful smile in the face of fate, and her vibrant yet resolute life force—all make me envious.

Chat: About Casiah

Unlocks after acquiring Awakener "Casiah"

I secretly watched Miss Casiah's magic show. Her performance brought such joy to the audience, but I always bring sadness... Do you think tears and smiles are equally precious? Perhaps...

Chat: About Hanna

P-Please, do not tell Miss Hannah that I am hiding here. I am not ready yet...

Chat: About Colette

Human emotions are as fragile and precious as flowers...

Chat: What I Like

Poetry, flames, and sorrow are alike; they engulf you without notice... By the time you come to your senses, you are already immersed in the world of poetry...

Chat: What I Hate

There is nothing in this world to hate. The golden years deserve praise, while the decline of old age deserves pity; the finery of youth is enviable, while tattered remnants evoke thoughtful reflection.

Chat: About Dissolution

My body was not affected by Dissolution; those black liquids are simply ink. But honestly, even without Dissolution, everything eventually turns into Illusion, does it not?

Chat: About Mythag

Mythag's Student Poetry Club wants me to be their advisor... I cannot agree. I do not wish to dampen their spirits, but I fear I would only bring them disappointment and discouragement.

Chat: About Ghosts

I've always sensed the presence of "ghosts" around me, like some inexplicable possession or bewitchment, draining my hope for the world. But if it's a ghost, how do you explain the milk and water vanishing into thin air...?

Chat: About Cité

I almost forgot... What kind of flowers bloom in Cité this season?

Chat: About Her Pain

The beauty of blooming flowers is matched by the sadness of their withering. No matter how many times I feel sorrow, I cannot help but stop and mourn for them. If I were to ignore them out of fear of pain, how sad these flowers would be...

Chat: About Her Poems

Poetry and flowers are probably the same thing, are they not? Both are fleeting yet eternal. In this boundless world, they capture the most unforgettable moments in a small space... I think everyone has fallen silent for a poem, just as they pause to admire a flower's bloom.

Chat: About Past Memories

In the Keygrave, I saw your name on one of the tombstones... The memories of life were painful, but I never intended to forget them. For the Keeper, those lost memories must be equally precious, yes?

Chat: About the Keeper - 1

Your presence has rekindled the ink in my pen, allowing it to flow once more like a gentle stream. I will continue to compose poetry for your story.

Chat: About the Keeper - 2

I wrote a new poem yesterday, but haven't shown it to anyone. It's not very good, but... {Male=Mr.,Female=Miss} Keeper, would you be willing to take a look at it?
