An ocean spirit who once faced demise in solitude has found a miraculous second life on land. Whether naturally optimistic or choosing to forget to escape suffering, her guileless innocence exudes an irresistible charm that draws people to her side—perhaps this is a subtle ploy of hers to expand her "circle of friends."

During the investigation along the southern coast of Cornwall, I discovered a derelict village unmarked on any known map. Upon investigation, we confirmed that it had been "erased" by an outbreak of dissolution. In the village, we collected a large number of anomalous marine specimens, including carnivorous giant clams, heat-resistant sea angels, and most baffling of all, "amphibious jellyfish" found everywhere. In a dilapidated house that had become a jellyfish nest, we recovered a fluid Silver Core weighing approximately 11.85 drams. Don't expect much from the intellect of jellyfish; Aurita cannot comprehend what she has experienced. All she can affirm is that she once lived in that deserted village. Whenever the past is brought up, she deflects the conversation by feigning understanding, so Aurita contributes little to the study of D-Phenomenon or cataclysmic anomalies. However, as a rare harmless Awakener, Aurita is deeply cherished by the faculty and students of the Awakener Department. Even Professor Czort, the lead researcher in Dissolution biology, takes particular care of her. By the way, she gained the ability to split and proliferate after merging with the jellyfish's collective consciousness. Even if what proliferates are just ordinary jellyfish, Aurita excitedly holds up her "companions" to boast door-to-door—though, unable to distinguish between individuals, she remains blissfully unaware that the "new friend" she presents each time is the exact same jellyfish.

A fishing village with crystal-clear waters, a shoreline adorned like the Milky Way on a midsummer night, and the lighthearted laughter echoing from a touring caravan—these memories of a world that no longer exists flash back from time to time, only to be promptly cast aside. As long as companions keep appearing by her side, new memories can always be made. Besides, the jellyfish are always there—at least, that is what Aurita believes. After all, to drift and propagate, and face down formidable threats through sheer numbers, is both the nature and the destiny of the jellyfish.
